Lizzie more or less has to take care of her father since her Mom died. One day her Dad is acting a bit more strange than usual, so she stays back from school to keep an eye on him. He is eating worms and acting like a bird! Her dad is getting all excited about these giant wings he has created out of feathers. Lizzie learns that he has signed up for a contest to see if he can fly. Auntie Doreen stops by to check on them and she is even more concerned about the way he is acting and tries to take Lizzie away. Read on to be entertained with this short book.
