On the Western calendar, the start of the Lunar New Year falls on Thursday, February 3, 2011.  On the Chinese calendar, 2011 is Lunar Year 4709 — The Year of the Rabbit.. If you were born in 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, or 2011 - you were born under the sign of the rabbit.
